This painting is inspired by my love of  snorkeling with my father. 

 

It features a sea turtle painted on swordfish bill with a bright vibrant blue background to capture the memories I have of swimming in the Caribbean with him as a child. 

 

I love that the collector who purchased this piece, did so for her mother. Her and her mother had a special mother/ daughter bond over sea turtles. 

 

I’m happy that my relationship with my father was able to relate to the collectors relationship to her mother.
